Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church was a Welsh artist who was famous for her debut 'Voice of an Angel,' at only twelve years of age. She has been a talented actress and singer, who's presented television shows. Since her early years she was able to show an aptitude for singing and was performing with others in public at the age of 3 and a half. It began when she was a hymn singer and then performed "Pie Jesu" by phone for a TV show at age 11. The audience was first introduced to her via her performance on the "Big show for Big Talent". Charlotte was able to play in concert at Cardiff Arms Park and the Royal Albert Hall. Charlotte's potential was recognized through Jonathan Shalit, one of the UK's top entertainment personalities, who helped her sign a contract in 1999 with Sony Music and became her manager. Her debut album, 'Voice Of an Angel' released in 1999, became an instant hit, making her the youngest singer to be featured on a No. The British crossover classical charts ranked her album as No. 1. in 1999. The popularity of her music continued to grow through the years and she has been invited to perform before prominent people such as former US President Clinton and the Prince of Wales Charles as well as Pope John Paul II.
